The laboratory notebook is a complete record of what you have done in the lab.

In a “real life” research situation, someone may have to reproduce your work several years after you have left the laboratory and the only record they will have to rely on will be what you wrote in your Size: KB. The Title,Statement of Purpose, Background and Procedural Outline sections must be prepared prior to the laboratory period (click here for a checklist of what to do before lab).

AP Chemistry is an introductory college-level chemistry course. Students cultivate their understanding of chemistry through inquiry-based lab investigations as they explore the four Big Ideas: scale, proportion, and quantity; structure and properties of substances; transformations; and energy.

The last time that I sat in a college chemistry class was 45 years ago, so needless to say, skills were a tad rusty. This book presents the material in an organized and Cited by: 1.

Choosing Your AP Courses. CHEM L: General Chemistry I Lab Course Overview. CHEM L is a one-credit, lab only, online general chemistry course. The overall goal of this course is to give an introduction to general chemistry focused on understanding the concepts within the labs and the scientific method.

The first part of the book, “Introduction to Chemistry” does a fair job discussion the scientific method, the basic precepts of chemistry, and history of chemistry; however, I found the discussion of significant figures (a topic critical in my opinion to the first year chemistry curricula) insufficient in detail or scope/5(8).

CHEM L: General Chemistry II Lab Course Overview. CHEM L is a one-credit, lab only, online general chemistry course. Since this is the second of two semesters in this series, it will be assumed that the student taking this course has a good understanding of general chemistry.

In general, the outline of this laboratory manual deals with the basic hematological procedures and clinical chemistry analysis using which is meant for students use.
